Balance Disorders (Neurology) Jefferson Medical Associates is proud to announce the expansion of its neurology department with the addition of new diagnostic equipment. With the addition of these diagnostic studies, our Neurology Department will be able to help diagnose our patient's neurological problems more effectively. We have been able to help diagnose patients with peripheral nerve diseases with our NCV/EMG (nerve conduction and electromyography studies). In 2003, we added an electronystagmogram (ENG) for more specific diagnosis of balance disorder, dizziness, vertigo, and other inner ear disorders. A posturography machine was also added for balance testing, falling, and gait problems.
Along with our neurologists, Dr. Singh and Dr. Tanious, we have added to our staff 2 registered technologists with over 15 years experience in the electrodiagnostic field, and a part-time licensed audiologist.
Our experienced medical staff and technicians look forward to helping you with
your neurological diagnostic needs. If you suffer from vertigo,
dizziness, balance, or gait problems, please let us know. Actually, some
of these symptoms can be treated the same day of the test and the patient
would be able to go home free of symptoms. We are looking forward to
helping you.
